SMS Messaging Practices

We may send two categories of text messages, each requiring separate consent:

Appointment & Customer Service Messages: estimates, appointments, scheduling, reminders, and customer service.
Marketing Messages: painting services, special offers, and promotions.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance.

SMS Consent and Opt-Out

SMS consent is provided through optional checkboxes on our forms, which are unchecked by default.
Consent is not required to purchase any services, and you may submit a form without agreeing to receive text messages.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from messages, or HELP for assistance.
We store your consent preferences (appointment/service and marketing) and honor your opt-out requests.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Service Providers

We may use trusted service providers, such as GoHighLevel or similar platforms, to deliver text messages, manage communications, and support customer relationship management. These providers process information on our behalf under appropriate agreements and are instructed not to use your information for their own marketing purposes. AI-Powered Phone Receptionist (Future Feature)

Luminosity Painting and Decorating may, in the future, use AI-powered assistants through GoHighLevel or a similar platform to:

Answer incoming telephone calls
Respond to customer questions
Schedule painting estimates
Assist with customer service
Collect contact information necessary to respond to inquiries

If call recording or transcription features are enabled, they will only be used where legally required consent is obtained. California is a “two-party consent” state for call recording, meaning all parties on a call must be informed and consent to the recording before it begins. If these features are activated, we will clearly notify callers at the start of the call and obtain the required consent before any recording or transcription occurs.

We do not currently record or transcribe calls. Any future call recordings or transcripts would be collected only with consent, used for service quality and training, protected with the safeguards described above, retained only as long as necessary, and then deleted.

Any consent required for future automated or AI-generated outbound calls is separate from SMS consent and would be obtained independently. We will not activate AI calling, automated outbound calls, or call recording until appropriate disclosures and consents are in place.
