Exterior House Painting in San Bernardino & the Inland Empire
Exterior painting is the work that greets you from the street every day, and the coating that has to survive Inland Empire summers. We are a licensed, family-owned painting contractor: we wash, scrape, repair and prime before the finish coat goes on, then apply coatings chosen for our sun and heat.

What we paint on the outside of a house
One crew handles the whole exterior so trim, stucco and doors all get the same level of prep and the same attention to cut lines.
- Stucco walls, including crack patching
- Fascia boards, eaves and rakes
- Window and door trim
- Entry doors and garage doors
- Wood siding and fascia repairs
- Patios, porches and railings
Preparation is most of the job
Paint fails where the surface under it fails. Before any finish coat, we pressure wash the exterior to remove dirt, chalking paint and mildew; scrape and sand peeling areas back to a sound edge; cut out and replace wood that has softened; fill stucco cracks; and caulk the joints where trim meets stucco and around windows and doors.
Bare wood and patched stucco get spot-primed so the topcoat bonds to the substrate instead of sitting on raw, thirsty material. It is slower than painting over everything, and it is the reason a job holds up instead of peeling again in a couple of seasons.
Coatings chosen for Southern California weather
Inland Empire homes take intense UV, months of triple-digit heat, seasonal rain, and dry Santa Ana winds. That combination chalks and fades paint, and the daily expansion and contraction of stucco opens hairline cracks that let water in.
We use Sherwin-Williams and Vista Paint products and match the coating to the surface: a masonry-appropriate finish for stucco, a wood coating for fascia and trim, and a harder finish for doors that get handled every day. Where an elastomeric or specialty coating makes sense, we explain the trade-offs rather than upselling it by default.
Wood repair and replacement
Fascia, eaves and window sills are where water gets in first. Soft or rotted boards are removed and replaced, not painted over — painting compromised wood just hides the problem until the next rainy season. Replacement boards are primed on the cut edges before installation so moisture has nowhere to wick in.
Local knowledge, city by city
Stucco tract homes and two-story elevations are everywhere in Rancho Cucamonga and Fontana, and ladders and containment matter as much as the paint does. Redlands, Highland and Claremont have more older homes where wood trim, porches and detailed fascia need repair before paint. Rialto, Ontario and Upland have a mix of both.
We are based in San Bernardino, so these are neighborhoods we drive through weekly rather than a territory on a map. Not sure whether your city is in range? See the full service area.
Questions homeowners ask
Do you pressure wash before painting?
Yes. Washing is the first step on every exterior. Dirt, chalk from sun-damaged paint, and spider webs all keep new paint from bonding, so we clean the surfaces and let them dry before any scraping or repair starts.
Can you repair stucco cracks and damaged wood?
Yes. We patch cracks and small stucco damage, replace damaged fascia and trim boards, and repair or replace window sills and other wood that has softened or rotted. Anything unusual we find on the walkthrough, we point out and price before work starts.
Which paint products do you use?
We work with Sherwin-Williams and Vista Paint coatings and can use other premium brands if you have a preference. We'll explain the differences between the products and why we recommend one for stucco, wood, or metal.
What if my HOA requires an approved color?
Many Inland Empire communities require architectural approval before a color change. Get that approval first and we will paint from the approved color. If you want help comparing colors against your roof and hardscape, we can talk through options on the walkthrough.
